We want what most of us want - a world of peace and equity and one where needless pain is alleviated. However, in the world we live in there will always be suffering, and poverty, and strife. But there should always be dignity, hope and a way forward for humans striving to be happy. The primary focus of non-profits is to help people achieve dignity and they are very good at this. The for-profit model has the additional profit incentive which gives it the drive, edge, and ability to attract the abundance of available wealth needed to accomplish this mission of transformation. Business leaders can change the world through one simple act – taking care of the people who take care of them.
